Both positions are open to remote candidates as well as candidates near our Fayetteville, AR office. The roles may be full or part time, and compensation is at a competitive hourly rate based on experience and skills.

MEMBERSHIP COORDINATOR

The Incremental Development Alliance (IncDev) is a non-profit organization that offers training workshops to individuals and coaching to cities that want small real estate projects implemented in their communities. The organization has launched a new Membership model which gives IncDev the space to continue to advocate, train, certify, and represent incremental developers and ecosystem champions. This model also allows IncDev to grow as a professional organization, providing community and moral support to Members, connecting them nationally with others.

The Incremental Development Alliance seeks an individual to assist the Executive Director and organizational staff with Membership coordination and management, maintaining efficient and consistent communication with existing Members, and ongoing support for Membership benefits. This role also includes social media engagement and support for IncDev staff.

Job Activities:

  • Drive communications efforts forward on a daily basis with Members and work with the organization’s leadership to set ongoing strategy.

  • Assist with scheduling informal office hours and happy hours with Members and IncDev Faculty.

  • Overseeing and managing all communications and internal duties via the IncDev Member Slack channel in order to continue engagement.

  • Scheduling Members-only and general email communications to the IncDev network. This includes organizational updates and training event updates.

  • Utilizing the existing IncDev brand to curate new content for social media and marketing purposes.

Required Experience and Skills

  • 0-5 years experience in office administration, social media marketing, content curation, or client management.

  • Proficiency and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Clear, succinct, and polite written and oral communication, plus comfort with corresponding with existing and potential Members via the Incremental Development Alliance Member Slack channel.

  • Outstanding customer service skills in interfacing with Members.

  • Confidence managing and reporting on multiple deadlines simultaneously.

  • Social media content curation which is consistent with the existing branding.

  • Ability to assist with expanding existing branding and refining the existing brand package is a plus.

Desired Additional Skills:

  • Technical competency with software apps such as Instagram, Facebook, Canva, MailChimp, and Squarespace.

  • Communications and/or non-profit background.

EVENT COORDINATOR

The Incremental Development Alliance (IncDev) is a non-profit organization that offers training workshops to individuals and coaching to cities that want small real estate projects implemented in their communities. The organization has built a pipeline of potential sales and contracted projects and events that need constant management from beginning to end.

The Incremental Development Alliance seeks an individual to assist the Executive Director, Operations Director, and Communications Director in coordinating training event programming logistics, tracking event alumni, and completing tasks for internal and external project work. We seek an individual with exceptional organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication ability, and detail-oriented event planning capability. This position will be remote but has the potential for occasional travel to assist and administer events to support Faculty members.

Job Activities:

● Manage the logistics of the organization's in-person and virtual training events, coordinating sponsors across the country to recruit attendees and manage vendors.

● Track and record progress (skills development and literal building development) of event alumni in our database.

● Coordinate travel planning, and expense documentation with Alliance staff and faculty for events and projects.

● Scheduling, task management, and deliverable tracking for large client projects and internal strategic projects.

● Assist Executive Director, Operations Director, and Communications Director to track and cultivate new leads for training event clients and project work.

Required Experience and Skills

● 0-5 years experience in event planning, office administration, marketing, community organizing, or contract management.

● Extremely organized: Someone who can keep data and files in the right place, labeled correctly, and up to date.

● Clear, succinct, and polite written and oral communication, plus comfort with corresponding with clients and partners across many time zones, in person and virtually. Zero hesitancy to pick up the phone.

● Outstanding customer service skills in interfacing with the customers and clients.

● Confidence managing and reporting on multiple deadlines simultaneously.

● Experience using Salesforce as a customer relationship management program and project management tool (or strong eagerness to learn).

Desired Additional Skills:

● Experience with successful event budget management and experience organizing events in range of 25-100 people

● Technical competency with software apps such as Squarespace, MailChimp, Google Apps, Microsoft Office applications, and event ticketing software

● Photography expertise is a plus

The Incremental Development Alliance is a national non-profit providing training and coaching to implement neighborhood-scale real estate development. Our goal is to create 1000 new small real estate developers and provide assistance to communities that want to encourage small development activity. Our educational offerings extend to individuals in the private, non-profit, and public sectors, and provide information on real estate project formation as well as community level programs related to land use regulations and project financial structure.
